Dr. Zhao's Orthopedic Specialties

Total Shoulder Replacement

Total shoulder replacement addresses advanced arthritis by replacing both the ball and socket of your shoulder joint. The procedure recreates your natural shoulder anatomy to restore smooth, pain-free movement when daily activities become difficult.

Reverse Shoulder Replacement

Reverse shoulder replacement treats severe rotator cuff damage, complex fractures, or advanced arthritis by switching joint mechanics. Reversing the ball and socket allows other muscles to stabilize the shoulder and restore strength, motion, and daily function.

Shoulder Conditions

Advanced surgical care is available for complex shoulder problems including revision surgeries, infected shoulders, and failed rotator cuff repairs. These specialized techniques help restore your strength and mobility while eliminating pain.

Elbow

Minimally invasive treatments address persistent elbow conditions like tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow through the Tenex procedure. Endoscopic nerve release surgeries also provide relief from cubital tunnel compression in the elbow.

Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel syndrome can cause numbness, tingling, and weakness in your hand when the median nerve becomes compressed at the wrist. Endoscopic carpal tunnel release is often used to address the median nerve compression.

Patient Reviews

“Everyone is so friendly and professional. I just had my two week follow up after a shoulder replacement and I am so pleased with my care and how I am progressing. I will need another shoulder replacement after this one heals and I will count on Dr. Zhoa to perform this second surgery as well. Thank you all so much!!!!”

This appt was a follow up after shoulder surgery. Dr. Zhao is very thorough in explaining exactly what he did and why he it. He showed pictures of my actual surgery. If I had to have surgery for this again I would definitely trust Dr. Zhao to do it. His staff is wonderful too!
